Job Summary

The Athletic Trainer at Loyola High School of Los Angeles is responsible for providing medical care and support to student-athletes. This includes prevention, recognition, evaluation, and management of athletic injuries. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Athletic Trainer and Athletic Director to ensure the health and well-being of our student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide athletic training room coverage and support to student-athletes
Develop and implement injury prevention programs
Recognize and evaluate athletic injuries
Manage and treat athletic injuries
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Communicate effectively with coaches, teachers, and parents

Requirements

Current certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high levels of stress
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a school setting and be available to work during athletic events and games. The successful candidate will be required to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
