Job Summary
LAUSD is seeking a highly skilled Sports Medicine Specialist to work with a consulting physician in developing and implementing injury prevention and management programs at school sites. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.

About the Role:
The Sports Medicine Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the organization and administration of student-athlete care, including injury recognition, assessment, and evaluation. The specialist will also provide education and counseling to students on injury prevention and management, as well as work with the consulting physician to develop and implement programs to address these needs.

Requirements / Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong background in sports medicine, with experience working with student-athletes and school staff. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a master's degree or higher preferred.
