Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

As an MRI Technologist, you will deliver high-quality magnetic resonance imaging services to diverse patient populations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures with precision and care.
  • Preparing and positioning patients and equipment thoughtfully.
  • Collecting comprehensive patient histories and obtaining informed consent.
  • Clearly explaining procedures to patients with empathy.
  • Maintaining effective communication with Radiologists and team members.
  • Adhering to established protocols under Radiologist supervision.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiology program.
  • Associate Degree.
  • Preferred: Registered Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the State of Florida.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent lifting of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
