Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Radiologic Technologist

We are currently looking for a Florida-licensed Radiologic Technologist to work on a full-time/part-time/PRN basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be proficient in performing a variety of imaging procedures, including brain, spine, facial, thoracic, abdominal, and extremity scans. Our focus is on delivering exceptional patient care; if you are committed to helping others, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Selecting appropriate technical parameters for imaging studies and conducting diagnostic CT examinations with care and respect
  • Demonstrating thorough operational knowledge of CT equipment and related technologies
  • Assisting in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures
  • Preparing and positioning patients while ensuring their comfort and modesty
  • Documenting all relevant clinical information prior to examinations and obtaining informed consent
  • Producing high-quality CT images for interpretation
  • Staying updated with software protocols and participating in ongoing education and training
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues, including radiologists
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment to prevent contamination
  • Being available for on-call duties as necessary to provide optimal patient care

Qualifications

  • Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification
  • Active Florida Department of Health license (CRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting patients or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
