KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Telecommunications Video Support Specialist will possess advanced knowledge and expertise in delivering technical solutions and assistance within enterprise-level Telecommunications and Video environments, which include various operating systems and multiple applications and services.
  • Support for extensive, diverse environments necessitates a deep understanding of Telecommunications and Video architecture and execution.
  • Key areas of focus include Web Collaboration tools (such as Teams and Zoom), Video Teleconferencing, Web Casting, and Telecommunications, encompassing both T&V Engineering and Technical Support.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in troubleshooting current and past Microsoft workstation operating systems.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in client configuration, administration, and network access within Telecommunications and Video settings.
  • Familiarity with Crestron switches, Biamp DSPs, SoundControl Technologies, and foundational LAN skills is required. Extensive application support experience and knowledge of Teleconferencing and Collaboration Tools such as MS Teams and Zoom are essential.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative and the capability to work independently.
  • Hands-on customer support experience, including high-level executive support.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, emphasizing rapport building, active listening, and effective questioning.
  • Strong documentation abilities.
  • Experience in live event production is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing and testing both current and emerging software/hardware technologies.
  • Familiarity with Telecommunications Equipment, including Poly, Cisco, and Avaya hardware and software, is advantageous. A college diploma or university degree in computer science or equivalent work experience of 5+ years is preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
Cambridge International Systems adheres to vaccination requirements for Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) assignments.
Office setting:
  • Must be capable of working in an office environment, seated at a desk, and utilizing a computer for the majority of the workday.
  • Work conditions are generally comfortable; employees have discretion regarding sitting, walking, and standing.
  • May require short-distance travel to various offices, conference rooms, and buildings on-site.
