Position Summary: This role encompasses three primary responsibilities. The majority of the focus will be on procurement activities with suppliers and managing inventory through our software systems. Additionally, the position will involve overseeing facility management, ensuring maintenance schedules are adhered to with contractors, and coordinating repairs for machinery and equipment. Lastly, there will be involvement in safety initiatives within the facility and collaboration with our production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Adhere to specific instructions and established processes.
  • Capable of performing occasional heavy lifting (30 – 50 pounds).
  • Exhibit strong analytical capabilities.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers and contractors, understanding machinery and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage our Asset Essential software and schedule preventative maintenance for equipment.
  • Participate in our Quality Management Services.
  • Assist in developing and supporting both short-term and long-term inventory management strategies.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Contribute to maintaining safety programs and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other offices to ensure proper safety and inventory management.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to address challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards.
  • Experience with Netsuite and Athena software.
  • Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Background in inventory management.
  • Forklift certification.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Dependable transportation is necessary.
