Job Summary

The Embassy Suites Lubbock is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Assistant Executive to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Staff: Assist the Executive Housekeeper in directing the housekeeping department to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of the establishment in accordance with corporate and franchise standards.
  • Manage Housekeeping Operations: Responsible for all aspects of the housekeeping function, including but not limited to supplies, linen, equipment, work orders, and other duties as assigned.
  • Inspect Guest Rooms: Inspect guest rooms to ensure that quality of work and hotel standards are maintained.
  • Communicate with Front Desk and Sales: Maintain contact with the Front Desk and Sales to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Fill in for Executive Housekeeper: Fill in for the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Housekeeper in their absence.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Assist the Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Housekeeper with monthly inventories of guest and housekeeping supplies, and place orders for all necessary equipment.
  • Maintain Housekeeping Keys: Maintain and issue housekeeping keys.
  • Enforce Uniform and Grooming Standards: Ensure that staff is in adherence to hotel uniform/grooming standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Extensive Knowledge of Hotel Housekeeping Techniques: Must have extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping techniques.
  • Supervisory Experience: Must have supervisory experience.
