The Behavioral Health Technician plays a vital role in supporting the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks, providing support to residents at mealtimes and snacks
  • Support residents during structured outings and recreation
  • Monitor and support bathroom use per client treatment
  • Monitor and document exercise
  • Be available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Mental health experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to drive
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred
