Job Summary

Accanto Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks, providing support to residents at mealtimes and snacks.
  • Support residents during structured outings and recreation, promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
  • Monitor and support bathroom use per client treatment, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Monitor and document exercise, promoting physical activity and well-being.
  • Be available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Mental health experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to drive.
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred.
