- Conduct inspections of staging, accumulation, and storage areas to ensure compliance with housekeeping standards.
- Monitor storage areas and containers for leaks or spills.
- Verify that containers meet labeling regulations.
- Collect, categorize, and appropriately package waste chemicals for disposal to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Execute assignments at client locations, including major corporations.
- Oversee the final preparation and approval of all projects prior to shipment, in line with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company guidelines.
- Implement projects/jobs in accordance with site-specific Federal, State, and local regulations and health and safety plans.
- Understand client-specific disposal restrictions and special packaging needs.
- Sample and profile new waste streams or any waste requiring analytical testing.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's license.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Must obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment, company funded.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required by the job.
- Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and physical examination, as applicable.
- Comply with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard regarding facial hair standards.
- Some coursework in Chemistry or Natural Science.
- Possession of a CDL.
- Prior experience in Environmental Services (e.g., remediation, abatement, emergency spill response, etc.).
