POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage a variety of eligibility programs, including ASO, level funded, and MEC. In this role, you will handle the processing of insurance applications, modifications, reinstatements, and terminations. Your duties will include ensuring the precision of insurance records, liaising with insured individuals, and keeping comprehensive policy documentation. This position provides opportunities for cross-training across different eligibility programs.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Examine and verify enrollment forms for completeness and correctness.
  • Establish effective dates in accordance with eligibility standards.
  • Engage with insured individuals and agents regarding account updates.
  • Maintain well-organized and thorough records for policyholders.
  • Confirm and refresh employee information accurately.
  • Facilitate modifications to employee benefits and insurance plans.
  • Calculate premiums, refunds, and billing adjustments as necessary.
  • Draft professional communications for internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy of patient demographic and insurance data.
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA eligibility guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong typing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work full-time in an office environment.
