Job Title: Insurance Collection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Collection Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Partners Investments, LLC. As an Insurance Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily activities associated with the timely collection and resolution of accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct contract with payors for resolution of accounts
  • Follow up on outstanding issues associated with assigned accounts
  • Document clearly any actions taken on accounts
  • Analyze payments, adjustments, denials, eobs, and other forms of communication from payors
  • Ensure that HPI is receiving correct reimbursement and that we are in compliance with government and/or contract related rules and regulations
  • Stay informed and up to date on any rule or policy change in regards to their current position
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with any and all entities they may come in contact with on a daily basis
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Minimum one year experience in medical insurance collections required, 3 years preferred with experience in multiple areas of the revenue cycle from billing to claim payment in full
  • Experience with current system, preferred
