Corporate Insurance Advisor Role

As a Corporate Insurance Advisor at Comma Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in providing our clients with expert recommendations and guidance to ensure they select the right Property, Casualty, and Life insurance products to safeguard their interests. Working collaboratively with our team, you will be trained to deliver exceptional service to our existing clients as well as newly referred clients, addressing their insurance needs with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing internal business opportunities from internal corporate referrals and external branch sales activities.
  • Support a growth-oriented approach for the Corporate and Branch Agencies by promoting insurance products to new and referral customers.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for new insurance contracts, including personal lines of home, umbrella, life, and automotive, and customize programs to cover client risks.
  • Cultivate prospective business through cold calls, emails, referrals, and networking, in addition to warm referrals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Agency Managers and Account Management team members.
  • Evaluate client policy assignments to recommend additional coverage that meets evolving needs while ensuring confidentiality in every client interaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficient technology skills to navigate various internal platforms and multiple external carrier platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to establish trust among clients.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and own a task or procedure from start to finish.
  • Consistently deliver a client-focused experience using multiple channels such as phone, video, email, and SMS.
  • Understand and explain various types of personal insurance coverage to consumers with limited knowledge of insurance.
  • Empathetic, active listening skills with the ability to ask effective follow-up questions.
  • Well-developed internal drive to win, with an innate ability to push through setbacks to achieve success.
  • Interact effectively with account managers, producers, and other colleagues to deliver a seamless, professional client experience.
  • Reliably follow a consistent sales process to ensure all prospects receive adequate care and follow-up.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
