Embedded Firmware Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Embedded/Firmware Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our sensor team, you will be responsible for developing and testing sensor and computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware, including bootloader, Linux kernel, and device drivers.
- Bring up Linux and drivers on new hardware.
- Update and maintain the Linux build system.
- Develop test plans and procedures based on functional requirements and industry standards.
- Design automated test suites for sensors and embedded systems.
- Perform functional tests for sensors and embedded systems.
- Support other teams on how to task cameras and integrate software APIs.
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of professional embedded C development in Linux.
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience working with Linux Yocto AND/OR Kernel.
Preferred Skills:
- Board bring-up for camera driver development.
- NVIDIA chips and products.
- Using NVIDIA as an edge computer device.
- Writing Linux device drivers (XPRS).
- Board bring-up for newly designed/re-designed boards.
- Familiarity with AGX/NX product lines.
- Familiarity with ISP.
