About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in system design, implementation, and release to manufacturing. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for executing product designs from concept to production, including design, prototyping, validation, testing, and certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a technical team on multiple projects in parallel, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement complex embedded systems, analog, and digital circuit designs, and debug systems.
  • Write and develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
  • Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical, firmware, and system-level design.
  • Expertise in schematic entry, layout tools, and design for manufacturability.
  • Experience designing complex schematics containing analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience with FPGAs, VHDL, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and mixed-signal designs.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues creatively and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
  • Experience with project management of technical projects.
