Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Student Resource Coordinator to join our dynamic team at College Housing Northwest. This role is responsible for providing professional-level coaching, service coordination, and case management support to students facing housing insecurity in our community.

The ideal candidate will have experience in case management, social work, counseling, or a related field, as well as a strong understanding of the challenges faced by post-secondary students. They will be able to develop and implement individualized support plans, provide coaching on financial literacy, tenant education, and academic resource supports, and engage students in advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student barriers, needs, and resources
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Provide coaching related to financial literacy, tenant education, and academic resource supports
  • Support students through the life cycle of their CHNW rental experience
  • Collect and document student demographic data, program activities, and outcomes in appropriate databases, forms, and reports

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or commensurate experience; Bachelor's or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years' experience in case management, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • 2 years' experience working in student housing or with post-secondary students in some capacity, non-profit experience preferred
  • Experience in conflict management, especially trauma-informed approaches
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse and underrepresented populations
