Job Title: Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing internal and external marketing strategies to further our mission and achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute long- and short-term marketing and communications plans and strategies that satisfy LSS brand standards and goals.
  • Work with the LSS Health Center to create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that promotes programmatic goals and supports community outreach efforts.
  • Manage and maintain LSS and various program social media channels, including developing content, responding to comments and messages, and tracking engagement.
  • Write, review, edit, and coordinate the production of LSS and program marketing and communication materials, ensuring relevancy, consistency, and brand compliance.
  • Manage and update the LSS website, including content and basic functional components, and work with external vendors as needed.
  • Analyze digital campaign results and make recommendations on ways to improve the success of digital marketing efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a marketing or communications professional, preferably in the non-profit or healthcare sector.
  • Prior relevant marketing and communications experience, including creating engaging content to advance an organization's mission.
  • Social media management experience.
  • Experience developing and managing an annual marketing and communications calendar and strategies.
  • Understanding of CRM software (HubSpot is preferred) and marketing automation.
  • Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to track and analyze performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media analytics technologies to engage a diverse audience.
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.) and Microsoft platforms, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Canva and some graphic design experience preferred.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license, access to reliable insured transportation, and ability to meet LSS insurance standards required.
