We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Security Officer to join our team at Texas Western Hospitality Group. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.
Key Responsibilities:- Remain knowledgeable of hotel security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Patrol allocated areas of the hotel and property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Manage the collection, safeguarding, and redistribution of lost and found items.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances, taking action to resolve the situation in the best interest of the hotel.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of premises.
- Warn violators of rules infractions and expel persons who pose danger to the hotel's well-being, using force when necessary.
- Call the police, fire department, or ambulance in cases of a medical emergency or any dangerous or threatening condition.
- Take initiative to notify or warn guests and hotel staff of dangerous conditions or areas on the hotel's property.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality of all information.
- Work as a team with other security officers, staff, and departments for the well-being of the hotel and guests.
- Maintain logs and/or records of activity during the scheduled shifts.
- Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
- Provide assistance and/or information to guests and others when necessary.
- Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
