Position Title: Patient Access Representative (Radiology)


Shift: Evening Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm

Overview: The Patient Access Representative plays a crucial role in the Radiology department by delivering accurate and professional information to hospitals, clinics, physicians, technologists, and staff in a dynamic 24/7/365 environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to client facilities, technologists, and physicians.
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and IT support.
- Utilize effective communication skills to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in the initiation of physician and case dispatching for interventional radiology.
- Monitor and respond to email and messaging systems as necessary.
- Document and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Previous call center experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Above-average skills in problem resolution and follow-up.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficient typing skills (minimum of 30 WPM).
- Capability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
- Demonstrated excellent phone etiquette.
