Job Overview

We operate 31 facilities, including 28 manufacturing sites across five countries, supported by a worldwide network of sales engineers, distributors, and authorized representatives.

Position Objective:

The aim of this role is to uphold the highest standards of customer service through direct engagement with a designated group of clients. A Customer Service Representative (CSR) must possess outstanding communication skills to effectively liaise with customers, Field Sales Representatives, and Product Management. The CSR is responsible for addressing customer needs related to quotes, order processing, and order tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide timely and accurate quotes to customers to enhance order acquisition.
  2. Review orders for precision through our contract evaluation process.
  3. Manage and reconcile customer orders to minimize returns.
  4. Monitor overdue orders and keep customers informed of their status.
  5. Stay informed about our Quality Objectives and Policies.
  6. Acquire or enhance product knowledge to better assist customers.
  7. Access and manage customer websites as necessary.
  8. Understand and optimize the company's gross margin policies.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • General understanding of customer service operations within a manufacturing context is beneficial.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Familiarity with AS400 systems is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to resolving issues comprehensively.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess 0-3 years of experience in customer service, preferably within a manufacturing setting, and hold at least a High School diploma. Higher education is a plus.
