Job Title: Senior Client Advisor

The Bessemer Group, Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Advisor to join our team. As a Senior Client Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional client service, and overseeing a team of client advisors and administrative personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through regular and effective communication, coordination of client account service delivery, and consultation with client advisors.
  • Oversee a team of client advisors and administrative personnel, delegating responsibilities, monitoring and reviewing performance, and providing career guidance and growth opportunities.
  • Provide estate, financial planning, and tax recommendations based on consultation with Bessemer specialists, and consult with fiduciary counsel on trust and estate planning, will appointments, and revocable trusts.
  • Communicate with client's advisors to provide and obtain client information as needed to serve client relationships, and articulate the "Bessemer Story" and history of the company to further the client's understanding of the firm.
  • Deliver Bessemer quality service to the client in a highly superior and ethical manner, and stay up to date on economic and market trends by attending corporate communications meetings and internal training sessions, conducting independent research, and reviewing relevant legal, tax, financial planning, and trust and estates publications.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation)
  • Ten or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Series 7, Series 63 required. CTFA, CFA, or current law license or current CPA preferred
  • Well-developed and sophisticated client service orientation, exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills, acknowledged depth and breadth of technical knowledge and expertise, effective problem diagnosis and solution aptitude, goal-oriented, established track record of building collaborative relationships, ability to manage a team and foster collaboration, high degree of thoroughness and attention to detail, entrepreneurial orientation and self-starter initiative, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Salesforce.
