About the Role

Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability and Regional EHS Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining environmental compliance and implementing sustainable practices across our operations in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage ISO 14001 and 45001 certification programs and conduct environmental audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain EHS metrics and programs to ensure compliance with emerging laws and regulations and achieve Sony's global goals.
  • Manage internal and external communication and engagement activities regarding environmental and sustainability initiatives, products, and achievements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of environmental issues and ESH compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing ISO 14001 and 45001 certification and ESH auditing is highly desired.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management, employees, and stakeholders.
