The Affinity Group is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for planning and executing customized sales strategies for our key accounts in the food service industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement sales strategies for key accounts, in collaboration with the Director of Sales.
- Build and maintain close relationships with food service directors and chefs at assigned operators.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, updates, and follow-ups using our CRM system.
- Communicate sales results and updates to manufacturers as needed.
- Participate in visits to key strategic accounts and have a prepared itinerary in advance.
- Cook food products and create menu combinations to aid in the sale process.
- High School Diploma / GED
- Some college preferred
- Experience in food service brokerage, operations management, or national manufacturer sales.
- Ability to execute and follow through on sales plans.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Adept at building trust and credibility with clients.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment.
- Flexible work hours to accommodate demands of position.
- May require travel up to 75% of the time within territory.
