Job Summary

The Affinity Group is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for planning and executing customized sales strategies for our key accounts in the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement sales strategies for key accounts, in collaboration with the Director of Sales.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with food service directors and chefs at assigned operators.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, updates, and follow-ups using our CRM system.
  • Communicate sales results and updates to manufacturers as needed.
  • Participate in visits to key strategic accounts and have a prepared itinerary in advance.
  • Cook food products and create menu combinations to aid in the sale process.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Experience in food service brokerage, operations management, or national manufacturer sales.
  • Ability to execute and follow through on sales plans.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Adept at building trust and credibility with clients.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
  • Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment.
  • Flexible work hours to accommodate demands of position.
  • May require travel up to 75% of the time within territory.
