RN Clinical Supervisor

Gundersen Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our Surgical Department. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services in our fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in carrying out the vision, objectives, and strategies of the Surgery department consistent with the System's mission, vision, and goals.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to determine which resources are needed and recommend the acquisition of additional resources where indicated.
- Advocate change in processes and systems to ensure optimal, cost-effective health care delivery.
- Facilitate the resolution of clinical, staff, and policy issues.
- Oversee the adherence to policy and make recommendations for changes to AOR staff and leadership.
- Coach, monitor, and document staff performance, make recommendations for compensation strategy and promotion for their AOR.
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and years of experience.
- Experience working in an organization of similar size and complexity.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed minimally in the state of practice, some positions may require additional state RN licenses.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands-on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
