Job Title: Clinical Care Specialist

US Tech Solutions is seeking a skilled Clinical Care Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care services under the pharmacist's independent authority to administer COVID-19 vaccinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and administer COVID-19 vaccinations to patients assigned to you, under the discretion of a Registered Pharmacist with Independent Authority to administer COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Manage time effectively and demonstrate basic leadership qualities to deliver and manage appropriate patient care.
  • Coordinate with liaisons to arrive at the appropriate site for administration of COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Document service provided in an acceptable time frame during or immediately after care is provided, leveraging the Vaccine Administration Record (VAR).
  • Communicate changes in patient status to appropriate members of the staff to facilitate prompt attention to patient needs.
  • Maximize work efficiency using computers and other technologies.
  • Effectively communicate with agency staff, liaisons, Long-Term Care Facility staff, patients, and family.
  • Under the direction of the patient's consent, safely administer COVID-19 vaccine provided in a manner consistent with established standards of practice and policy.
  • Prepare and submit documentation outlining services rendered within the required time frame.
  • Promptly communicate with patient's physician and supervisor regarding problems, change in status, need for other team involvement, and goal attainment.
  • Thoroughly report patients care needs, progress and goals when transferring care to an alternate nurse.
Requirements:
  • 0 to 2 years of experience.
  • Immunization.
  • CPR/BLS.
  • Associate in nursing / Current RN licensure in the state.
