Job Summary
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves sales and is passionate about helping our members achieve their health and wellness goals. As a Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for building a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, ensuring they have a healthy pipeline of clients, and providing an exceptional fitness experience to our members.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management
- Lead and motivate a team of personal trainers to achieve sales and revenue goals
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
- Sales and Revenue
- Develop and execute sales plans to increase revenue and grow the PT business
- Build relationships with members and sell training packages and services
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and ensure a positive fitness experience
- Address member concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Operations
- Ensure the club is clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order
- Manage club operations, including new member onboarding and payroll
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fitness industry
- Education
- Valid PT certification
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Skills
- Strong sales and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
