About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the planning and implementation of endoscopy procedures, ensuring seamless execution and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Lead customer service initiatives, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Evaluate staff performance on an ongoing basis, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in delivering direct patient care, carrying a patient assignment as needed, and performing other duties as delegated by management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Registered Nurse license by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, with compact license holders required to obtain a Texas RN license within 90 days of hire date.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association, with ACLS certification from the American Heart Association in accordance with SDH policy.
  • Two years of experience in endoscopy nursing, with supervisory or charge RN experience preferred.
