We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise the planning and implementation of endoscopy procedures, ensuring seamless execution and optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead customer service initiatives, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Evaluate the performance of staff members, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Assist in delivering direct patient care, carrying a patient assignment as needed, and performing other duties as delegated by management.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse license by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, with compact license holders required to obtain a Texas RN license within 90 days of hire date.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association, with ACLS certification also required in accordance with SDH policy.
- Two years of experience in endoscopy nursing, with supervisory or charge RN experience preferred.
