Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Lucid Scientific, Inc. is a rapidly growing company that specializes in creating proprietary cellular analysis equipment for life science researchers. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and contribute to the scale-up of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new manufacturing processes and improve existing ones to increase yield, throughput, and cost efficiency.
  • Plan and execute process qualification and validation activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement changes to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing processes and troubleshoot issues in production.
  • Assist with the transition of processes to new manufacturing locations and/or outsourcing to contract manufacturers.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the manufacturing process to meet the company's growth objectives.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in a Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
  • Excellent technical writing skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • A self-starter who is accountable, results-oriented, and motivated by a challenge
