A reputable and established manufacturer is in search of a Manufacturing Improvement Engineer who possesses expertise in enhancing manufacturing processes.This is a direct-hire and permanent position that presents a remarkable opportunity to identify, develop, and execute significant process enhancement initiatives.
As a Manufacturing Improvement Engineer, your responsibilities will include analyzing production challenges, designing, and implementing enhancements to machinery, layout, material flow, and operational & maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
US Permanent Residency or Citizenship is Required.
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in identifying production challenges and opportunities to enhance safety, product quality, and throughput by designing and executing improvement initiatives related to machinery, layout, material flow, and operational & maintenance procedures.
Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, fishbone diagrams, and the 5 Whys, applying them directly to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to resolve process challenges.
Experience collaborating with safety teams to strengthen safety programs.
