POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to provide critical support to our Manufacturing and Process Engineering teams within a state-of-the-art facility. The role involves ensuring compliance with ISO standards while enhancing operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough analyses of production tools and processes to develop precise capacity models.
- Utilize various data sources, primarily through SQL queries and reports, to analyze production data effectively.
- Create and maintain accurate capacity models for production processes leveraging established SQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production capacity requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Employ standard software applications (MS Office, Tableau) for generating reports and documenting procedures.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of factory reporting and scheduling software.
- Participate in training sessions for factory operators and other personnel as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
- Be prepared to work overtime as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to operate in a clean room environment for direct manufacturing observations.
- Experience in computer data analysis (Oracle, SQL, Advanced Excel Macros programming) is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET) or Business Object reporting is preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Windows-based software.
- Familiarity with the principles of Theory of Constraints, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
