About the Role

Marex, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Derivatives Trader to join our team. As a key member of our trading desk, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of OTC derivatives and structured products, with a focus on commodities and FX.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trading and Risk Management: Manage risks arising from trading activities, ensuring compliance with allocated risk limits.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, hedge funds, and market makers.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the Sales team and Derivatives Engine to develop new products and services that meet client needs.
  • Operational Excellence: Work with the Quarant and IT teams to improve trading desk tools and processes, including proprietary pricing and risk management applications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other applicable exchanges.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in commodities or FX trading, with a strong understanding of risk management and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
