Overview

Job Summary

As an Intern in our Derivatives Sales Program, you will be embedded in our derivatives sales trading group, where you will be trained to understand the options markets and the decision-making strategies employed by our traders. You will learn how to engage with clients, execute order flow, and deliver market-based insights from our derivatives strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the options markets and derivatives trading strategies
  • Engage with clients and understand their needs and expectations
  • Assist in executing order flow and delivering market-based insights
  • Collaborate with our derivatives strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams
  • Cultivate client relationships and create partnerships
Requirements
  • Intention to graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree within one year of the internship program
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in financial markets and, specifically, equity derivatives
What We Offer

Derivative Sales Trader Interns will receive an annual base compensation of $100,000 prorated for the time worked at Susquehanna. In addition to a signing bonus, Interns will also receive company-paid housing, breakfast, and lunch, and other perks.
