About the Role

Marex, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Derivatives Trader to join our team. As a key member of our derivatives trading team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of OTC derivatives and structured products with either FX or commodities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Sales team and Derivatives Engine to maximize revenue and profitability from client flows.
  • Manage risks arising from trading activity, ensuring compliance with allocated risk limits.
  • Collaborate with the US sales team to develop and implement AGILE, our proprietary web application for servicing US-based clients.
  • Work with the Quarant and IT teams to improve trading desk tools and processes, including Marex proprietary pricing and risk management applications.
  • Originate hedging solutions and structured transactions with a cross-product selling mindset.
  • Collaborate with central operations functions to support trading activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other applicable exchanges.
Requirements
  • Experience in commodities or FX trading.
  • Proactive mindset with up-to-date market research skills.
  • Analytical skills to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial services markets and regulatory requirements.
  • Substantial experience in Marex Solutions USA product areas.
  • Experience with infrastructural support for Marex Solutions USA business lines.
  • Regulated environment experience and knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with electronic market making infrastructure.
  • Risk management experience for sales and derivatives portfolios.
What We Offer
