About the Role

Marex, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Derivatives Trader to join our team in the United States. As a key member of our derivatives trading team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of OTC derivatives and structured products with either FX or commodities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Sales team and Derivatives Engine to maximize revenue and profitability from client flows.
  • Manage risks arising from trading activities, ensuring compliance with allocated risk limits.
  • Collaborate with the US sales team to develop and implement AGILE, our proprietary web application, to service US-based clients.
  • Work with the Quarant and IT teams to improve trading desk tools and processes, including Marex proprietary pricing and risk management applications.
  • Originate hedging solutions and structured transactions with a cross-product selling mindset.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other applicable exchanges.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role, ensuring compliance with regulatory or company-determined parameters.
  • Role model for demonstrating high standards of integrity and conduct, reflecting Company Values.
Requirements
  • Experience in commodities or FX (foreign exchange).
  • Proactive mindset in keeping up to date with market research and incorporating it into your role efficiently.
  • Analytical skills, identifying opportunities and risks in a quick and decisive manner.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Substantial experience working in and knowledge of Marex Solutions USA product areas.
  • Experience in operating on electronic market making infrastructure.
  • Experience in risk managing sales and derivatives portfolios.
What We Offer

Marex, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $150,000 per year, base salary, and eligibility for discretionary bonus. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workforce.
