Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team at Personalcare Registered Professional Nursing P.C. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities in the Medical Department.

Available Shifts:
Full-Time & Part-Time Day (7:30 AM - 8:00 PM), Full-Time Night (7:30 PM - 8:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be accountable for ensuring that nursing practices align with established standards. Responsibilities include:
  • Assessing and delivering comprehensive care while adhering to security protocols.
  • Monitoring treatment services to prevent misuse or duplication.
  • Collaborating with the Health Services Administrator and Nurse Supervisor to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining accurate records of controlled substances and providing health counseling.
  • Conducting sick calls and offering provisional diagnoses for minor health issues.
  • Documenting patient symptoms and progress to inform nursing care plans.
  • Performing vital sign checks and thorough assessments at the start of each shift.

Orientation and Training:
This position includes a two-week orientation period where new hires will receive on-the-job training and shadow experienced nursing staff.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
  • Strong clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • The capacity to work independently while demonstrating clinical competence.
  • The ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
  • Previous healthcare experience is advantageous.
