About the Role

Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled Field Service Representative to join our Secure Power team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment
  • Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, and District Service to resolve issues
  • Complete field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets
  • Work closely with Manager and/or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues
  • Participate in continuous learning and training on various products both in the field and in the classroom
Requirements
  • Associate degree, vocational education, or similar experience in electronics, electrical theory, or a related field
  • Thorough understanding of principles of AC and DC power, various AC and DC supply circuit components
  • 2+ years of field service repair and customer service experience with UPS, electrical, electro-mechanical, or electronics-related equipment
  • Safe driving and vehicle operations skills
  • Ability to write service reports, correspondence, procedures, and effectively present information
  • Capacity to move service equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
