Job Description: Language Specialist

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year

The Medford School District (OR) is seeking a skilled Language Specialist to join our educational team. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing students' communication abilities.

About the Position:

We are searching for an experienced professional who can develop and implement effective language programs for students with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in speech-language pathology and be able to work collaboratively with teachers and other educators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze students' language patterns and develop targeted interventions
  • Design and implement language-based instructional programs
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate language skills into classroom instruction
  • Monitor and report student progress to parents and guardians

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
