Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Outpatient Clinical Intake Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for triaging patients, conducting initial screening interviews, determining eligibility, and coordinating care with clinical managers. Your ability to organize work, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient services.

About the Position

This is a full-time, day shift position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our clinical team to provide high-quality care to our patients. As an Outpatient Clinical Intake Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to our mission of promoting whole health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients and conduct initial screening interviews to determine eligibility
  • Determine appropriate services needed and coordinate care with clinical managers
  • Conduct mental health assessments, when possible
  • Provide referral information and assist with connecting and coordinating care
  • Develop initial treatment plans and coordinate case activities

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • Unlicensed therapists must be actively seeking or willing to obtain licensure
  • Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $66,000 - $78,750 per year, based on experience and qualifications. An additional 5% language differential may be offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates.
