Industrial Development Manager

At Manufacturing Works, we are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Development Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for providing solutions to manufacturers, utilizing a variety of resources to stimulate business and neighborhood investment, and fostering job creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct company assessments to identify company needs and analyze company information to identify trends and risks.
- Work with Manufacturing Works supporting members and internal programs to provide account/project management services to members.
- Engage community partners to aid in the completion of projects.
- Analyze company data to identify opportunities for current and future intervention.
- Prepare timely and regular reports as requested.
- Manage an account of member relationships as assigned, documenting contacts, projects, and services in CRM and other appropriate databases.
- Discuss the benefits of membership with Manufacturing Works.
- Serve as the critical liaison between program staff and members.
- Assist with the development of marketing material to promote membership sales and programs.
- Provide regular feedback on member activities, views, ideas, and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience with and knowledge of manufacturing, workforce, and economic development strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, relationship management, manufacturing, or economic development, preferably a combination of these disciplines.
- Proven ability in building strategic partnerships and facilitating and developing collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated success delivering strong customer service.
- Knowledge of business operations as well as local, state, and federal resources, and the local economic and political environments.
- Accomplished in project and account management.
