Job Summary:

The Vertex Company is seeking a highly skilled Lifecycle Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of strategies to address risks related to device obsolescence and ensuring the longevity and sustainability of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to address risks related to device obsolescence, including finding alternative parts or suppliers.
  • Closely monitor supply chains and proactively plan to avoid disruptions.
  • Use Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) to systematically improve product reliability and performance.
  • Lead the collection and analysis of data related to the performance, maintenance, and environmental impact of products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and make informed decisions about design, maintenance, and end-of-life strategies.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a related field, including experience leading the DMSMS and obsolescence of device activities.
  • Experience closely monitoring supply chains and proactively planning to avoid disruptions.
  • Experience using FRACAS to systematically improve product reliability and performance.
  • Experience leading the collection and analysis of data related to the performance, maintenance, and environmental impact of products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Experience identifying trends, anticipating potential issues, and making informed decisions about design, maintenance, and end-of-life strategies.
