Production Supervisor Assistant

As a key member of our production team, the Assistant Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This individual will assist in establishing production priorities, overseeing production processes, and collaborating with management personnel to achieve effective operations and cost factors.
Key Responsibilities- Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Assist in obtaining data regarding product specifications, delivery dates, and production requirements, helping to minimize excessive material on the production floor.
- Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control teams to optimize production and resource utilization.
- Review and discuss production reports to identify areas for improvement, working closely with production supervisors to address operating problems and enhance metrics.
- Monitor production metrics, complete monthly reports, and strive for continuous improvement in reducing line and plant defects.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, proper stocking of operation supplies, and equipment availability.
- Collaborate with the SPC system to identify and address repetitive problems, compiling and storing production data as needed.
- Strong knowledge of global logistics operations and industry trends.
- Proficiency in determining logistics requirements to support business goals and objectives.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with ability to manage business analytics and optimize company footprint.
- Knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes, as well as global customs regimes.
- Proven track record of successful change management, implementing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and email.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field, or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
