Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, the Assistant Production Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This individual will work closely with the production supervisor to establish production priorities, optimize production workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with management to establish production standards and quality control protocols.
  • Assist in coordinating production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control teams to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Review and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize scrap and reduce materials usage.
  • Monitor production metrics and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of global logistics operations and industry trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and e-mail skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a production or operations role.
