Process Engineering Internship Opportunity

As a Process Engineer Intern at Macom Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc., you will be responsible for sustaining existing GaAs IC and RF Power Transistor processes, as well as developing new processes in our semiconductor wafer fab located in Lowell, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sustain manufacturing processes to meet all factory indicators
- Plan and conduct experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle
- Drive improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel
Role Overview:
As a member of the manufacturing team, you will work alongside experienced engineers providing mentoring, guidance, and introductions to colleagues. This internship will help you gain valuable work experience in a key discipline, build professional relationships, and take ownership of a business-critical project.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline
- Must display strong sense of ownership, enthusiasm, optimism, drive, and dedication to the improvement of the process area
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve processes
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data and findings, writing process and equipment specifications, and work instructions
- Due to ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Prerequisite Skills and Experience:
- Excel, PowerPoint, Data Analysis
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Chemistry, Physics, background in semiconductors
