The Davis Companies is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the selection and optimization of SMT/SMD equipment, as well as the design of optimum production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize SMT equipment setup and programming sequences to improve production efficiency.
  • Design and implement production processes for SMT assembly operations, including solder paste selection, reflow profiles, and stencil designs.
  • Develop and implement process and capacity utilization strategies to maximize production output.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of surface mount and through-hole technologies.
  • Familiarity with IPC/EIA J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Working knowledge of SMT assembly and inspection processes, as well as printed circuit board CAD data and assembly equipment programming software.
