Job Title: Senior Director of Finance

Join the University of Minnesota as a Senior Director of Finance and lead the financial strategy for Boynton Health, a nationally recognized leader in college health. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial initiatives to advance the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial planning and budgeting processes to ensure fiscal viability and compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve revenue and reduce expenses, including negotiating contracts with third-party payers and vendors.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Supervise and manage a team of financial professionals, including revenue cycle, finance, and accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with 5 or more years in healthcare financial management.
  • Strategic financial leadership experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Supervisory and/or management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
