Key Responsibilities
- Direct the monthly financial closing cycle to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Guarantee the timely preparation of monthly financial statements
- Oversee the reconciliation of bank and cash accounts, balance sheet items, and inventory records
- Continuously assess cash flow positions, forecasting future cash inflows and outflows, and providing insightful analyses to executive management
- Administer the fixed asset ledger to accurately reflect capital investments and depreciation schedules
- Supervise the fulfillment of tax obligations and reporting requirements
- Lead the annual financial audit process
- Develop and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Ensure that internal controls and financial processes adhere to industry best practices, regularly reviewing and identifying opportunities for improvement and technological advancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is required
- CPA certification is essential
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Proven experience with ERP system implementation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong skills in PowerPoint and Word, along with comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite
