About the Role

OakBend Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care and related assistance to patients in the ICU, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Direct and supervise non-licensed personnel in providing direct patient care, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Support the medical team in the ICU, providing expertise and guidance as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, with a strong background in critical care nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
