Core Responsibilities:

A Live-in Caregiver is responsible for delivering personal care services that aid clients in their daily living activities. These responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting with Personal Hygiene
  • Support with Mobility/Transfers
  • Help with Dressing/Grooming
  • Meal preparation according to dietary needs
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or errands
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks
  • Providing companionship and engaging clients in suitable activities

Service Areas: The role covers various locations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English as required for the role
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, and current auto insurance are necessary
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Must meet the criteria for direct patient care employees, including passing a comprehensive background check
  • Successful completion of a Competency Evaluation during the interview process in accordance with state regulations for home health agencies
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a personal caregiver (agency or private)
  • Current CPR certification is recommended
  • CNA, HHA, or PCA training certification is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per client requirements
