We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Coordinator to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for performing special projects for the department management team, including maintaining documentation to promote and support safe work practices as recommended by JCAHO and other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ's).

As an Equipment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the maintenance and preservation of all historical data and compliance manuals used in the JCAHO survey process. This includes organizing and ensuring that a complete set of "as builts" are maintained in the Facilities Operations office, creating procedures necessary to manage technicians' review and contractor use.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring utility management manuals ("Genesis Plans") are updated regularly with current data no older than one maintenance frequency. You will also maintain CAD documents for utility mapping plan and monitor all licensing and regulation resource data to ensure access to current version approved by Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Required qualifications include a Diploma or GED with preferred Junior college/Two-year college training in related technology or bachelor's degree in engineering Technician discipline (Mechanical, Architectural, Electrical, Industrial, or related technology). Candidates with a four-year college education will be required to have one (1) year of experience with at least two (2) years of experience in equipment maintenance or CAD documentation.
